About

portrait Isabelle Cuisset

I’m Isabelle Cuisset, a creative web developer and founder of isaWabi.
Before launching isaWabi in 2021, I spent over 20 years in luxury fashion, working with brands like Burberry, Loewe and Prada. This experience shaped my eye for aesthetics, detail and storytelling.

I specialise in crafting bespoke websites for artists, curators and art galleries. I’m drawn to the art world for its creativity and individuality, and I enjoy helping clients shape a digital presence that reflects their work with clarity and care.

Using thoughtful design, technical expertise and a collaborative approach, I create websites that not only look beautiful but also support your practice. A bespoke artist or gallery website is more than a showcase: it is designed and developed as a practical tool, tailored to enhance your online impact. I build lightweight content management systems connecting artworks, enquiries, and exhibition experiences. Your website becomes a perfect frame for your art: elegant, functional and easy to update.

Services

web design

A website is a visual frame for your artistic presence. Every detail, from logotype and typography to colour palette and composition, is carefully chosen to reflect your aesthetic language and express your identity with clarity.

I design from a blank canvas, never relying on templates, ensuring that each website is as unique as the work, exhibitions or collections it presents. From focused artist portfolios to expansive gallery archives, every project is shaped with care.

You will preview responsive, interactive website prototypes with smooth transitions and refined details.

web development

I build each project on Webflow, a secure platform with an intuitive and visual interface for managing your content simply and confidently.

I handle all technical aspects of your website, with a focus on fluidity and reliability over time.

Your website will be structured for clarity, performance and long-term stability, with on-page SEO and optional features such as e-commerce, or advanced tracking of user behaviour and interactions.

For art exhibitions, I have developed Art_Frame, a lightweight tool allowing visitors to scan artworks and instantly access detailed information online.

content management

Your website should allow you to update it with ease, whether you are adding new works, exhibitions or events, or keeping a larger archive organised.

I create intuitive content management systems (CMS) that scale from focused artist portfolios to expansive gallery platforms.

Updates remain simple and efficient, whatever the size of your project.

I can also create private viewing pages to present selected artworks to collectors. These pages can include advanced analytics that reveal how works are viewed and navigated, helping you understand interest inside your website.

ARTWORK RECOGNITION FOR EXHIBITIONS

Art_Frame is an artwork recognition system developed for art exhibitions, alongside my web design and development work for the art world.

It creates a direct link between physical exhibitions and the artist’s or gallery’s website. Visitors can scan an artwork with their phone and immediately access its corresponding page online. No app, no login, no added friction.

Please contact me if you’d like to explore how Art_Frame could support an exhibition or collection.

ART-WEB

ART-WEB is an editorial and curatorial project by isaWabi, launched in May 2025.

A quiet and personal project, it unfolds through interviews and editorial features that reflect on how identity is expressed through visual choices - typography, printed matter, exhibition formats, and the way artists present themselves to the world.

NOTES

Alongside my editorial project, I’ve written Notes on Artists and Galleries’ Online Presence, a short publication reflecting on the role of the website within an artist or gallery practice.

The publication explores the relationship between social media and dedicated websites, the essentials of platforms and content management systems, and the role of tone, rhythm and space in thoughtful art website design.
